Boss Borot
The robot made out of junk that would become one of the most loved creations in the Mazinger Z universe. Boss Borot, named after its pilot Boss. He only arrived half way through the series but sometimes it seems like he was around since day one, such is his presence. Boss Borot did not have any weapons or abilities save its large strength and its ability to be easily and cheaply repaired. It mainly served as a support unit alongside Aphrodite or Diana Ace to take care of the weaker foes or to keep enemy robots distracted until Mazinger Z could show up although his most important task was as comic relief. He certainly gave the viewers more than a few laughs.
